Kalli brings to Stepping Stone Advocacy 10 years of experience as a nurse in a variety of acute care areas including Cardiac, Emergency Room, Interventional Radiology and Intensive Care. Kalli’s experience working in multiple hospital departments has given her the knowledge needed to navigate all the intricacies of a complicated hospital stay. Kalli has a passion for helping those who suffer from chronic illness and are trying to navigate the complex medical-system.
Kalli knew from a young age that she wanted to be a third-generation nurse. Her grandmother graduated from Martinsburg City Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. Kalli started working as a nursing assistant at the age of 19 and worked full time throughout nursing school. She will give that same level of hard work and determination toward advocating for you or your loved one.
Currently, Kalli works as an after-hours hospice triage nurse providing compassionate care and support for patients and families at the end of life. As a hospice nurse Kalli collaborates with staff at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in the area.
When she is not working, Kalli enjoys gardening and laughing with her husband Jeff. They work well together to tag-team caring for their three young children and border collie.
