Kristin Smedley is a registered nurse with over 25 years of clinical experience in the healthcare industry. Her journey in nursing began as a home health aide and later expanded into oncology within a hospital setting. After completing nursing school, Kristin concentrated on home health and hospice care, and more recently her focus was in care management and coordination. Her diverse experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the healthcare system and the challenges patients encounter.
Kristin is also a Certified Holistic Nurse Coach through the Integrative Nurse Coach Academy (INCA), where she is devoted to supporting patients through every stage of life. Her passion for advocacy is not only professional but personal; she is deeply involved in the care of her mother, who has Alzheimer’s dementia. Kristin plays a key role in her mother’s care, from providing clinical guidance to making healthcare decisions, managing housing, and ongoing life care planning.
In her free time, Kristin enjoys traveling to new destinations with her family, relaxing at the beach, and keeping up with her two Australian cattle dogs.
